Cozy Scandinavian home
Joyce had recently bought a new three-room HDB. She lives alone, and wanted to repurpose the various areas to suit her living habits.
We designed a perfect, cozy Scandinavian home for her.

Old home layout
The original layout had a joint living/dining area. But Joyce wanted a standalone living area, and a large dining/working area instead.
Brand new layout
We proposed to merge the two bedrooms into an open-concept, multifunctional space that included a living area. We also converted the original living/dining space into a large dining area.
Multi-functional room
An open concept created with a double-doorway made the bedroom and the living room look spacious.
The two doors, when open, gave the entire area better airflow, light flow, and accessibility.
Dual-purpose dining area
Joyce regularly invites colleagues over to work, so we designed a comfortable dining area that could also function as a working space. We placed a dining table that was large enough to double as a meeting table when needed.
Minimalistic Scandinavian kitchen
We matched the colors of the kitchen to the rest of the home.
Wood surface countertops in the white themed kitchen give off a Scandinavian feel.
Bye bye black sheep
The home didn’t have direct sunlight, so we installed large windows that maximized natural light. We also injected a saturated blue accent wall to help create a comfortable environment for sleep. Joyce will never have to count sheep again.
